Smart cities planner

2-year Master Degree aims at educating the next generation of engineers and scientists in Smart Cities and Communities. It implements a curriculum specializes in Energy, Transport, Buildings, Urban Planning and ICT.


The program is designed and delivered by 4 European Higher Education Institutions: University of Mons (Belgium), International Hellenic University (Greece), University of the Basque Country (Spain) and Univeristy of Vaasa (Finland). The programme relies on compulsory physical mobility between the four universities, with the support of more than 50 Associated Partners from the whole world, in order to boost the students’ exposure to the professional and academic sectors.


Admission criteria:


  1. Bachelor degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical, civil, environmental, architectural, computer, energy, etc.) or in sciences (physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, operation).

  2. Advanced English.

  3. Good academic record.
